Getting Consent

Collecting consent is easy and secure

Your clients must give their permission for us to request their IRS records. Collecting this consent is at the heart of what we do and helps to safeguard your clients' personal information.

Copy your bespoke client consent link and send it to your clients. With their permission, you can uncover their IRS-sourced financials and plan with confidence.

Do I need to get consent from both members of a couple who are married filing jointly (MFJ)?

Couples who are married filing jointly have identical Account Transcripts, Tax Return Transcripts, and Record of Account Transcripts. Only Wage & Income Transcripts are unique to each individual.

If one partner has no income, you only need consent from that partner to view the relevant transcripts. We recommend obtaining consent from both spouses to ensure you have all the IRS data for the household.
